Reverse Laminar Airflow Booth

Reverse Laminar Airflow Booth (aka Dispensing & Sampling Booths) from Alpha Linear is a very popular contamination control and personnel protection solution for pharmaceutical manufacturers, chemicals, active ingredients and bulk drug manufacturers.

Its principal aim is to protect personnel involved in manufacturing processes like sampling, packing, filling, grinding and/or dispensing highly active and potent chemical powders and pharmaceutical ingredients alike.

A Dispensing Booth operates as a single, independent system that maintains homogenous downflow of low turbulence, recirculated, HEPA filtered clean air, drawing harmful airborne dust and suspended powder away from the operator’s breathing area and is captured within the multi-stage onboard filtration system. The HEPA filtered downward draft moves across the sterile work area and over the operators head and shoulders carrying with it all suspended powder and delivers it to the return air filters at the bottom. The positive pressure from the downward draft, along with the exhaust filters at the bottom of the work-area prevents the dust from rising up during the weighing and dispensing operations; thereby protecting the operator from routine manufacturing procedures.
