Air Shower

Alpha Linear Air Showers are vital aseptic chambers installed at the entrance of cleanrooms and other controlled environments. It provides a sterile passage for personnel movement in and out of aseptic manufacturing sites without compromising the integrity of critical products and processes inside controlled environments. A jet of high velocity, HEPA/ULPA filtered air is passed through a series of nozzles inside the chamber, expelling any static dust, lint or other contaminants that may be sticking to the surface of the gowns worn by the occupants entering cleanrooms.

Air Showers and adequate gowning procedures provide a smooth transition for personnel entering from unclean areas to sterile cleanrooms and vice-versa. Air showers along with proper gowning protocols are among the most fundamental regulatory guidelines to be followed when operating a cleanroom.

Application objectives

Designed to be fully independent and self-contained with 100% air recycled.
Energy-efficient motors ensure the life-time operating and maintenance cost is minimum.
Disposable prefilters installed at the base of the chamber are designed to capture up to 80-85% of the contaminants suspended in the air, thereby extending the life of the HEPA filters.
Intended to eliminate particulate matter greater than 0.3 microns.
